Sight Word Books

Beginning readers need a group of words that they know by sight.  The best words for these are common words that we see over and over in text.  It is best if children have learned a group of 25 to 30 sight words before they begin to learn phonics.  That way they won’t have to struggle with figuring out every single word.  The process of learning to read will be more doable for them.

Includes:

27 sight word books. Each book introduces and practices one new sight word.  The words are simple and common, so they are very useful to young readers.  The books have fun, engaging illustrations that support the young readers in understanding the story.  The words in the books are cumulative.  Each book reviews words that have been previously learned.  That way, the children will thoroughly learn these 27 words by the end of the series.
